It’s not just about music, it’s also about food. Rapper and NFT enthusiast Snoop Dogg is going to open a Bored Ape NFT-themed dessert restaurant in LA. It will be the second gastronomic project inspired by one of the most famous NFT collections called Bored Ape Yacht Club. The first one opened this spring in LA. So that’s your munchies settled.
Snoop Dogg AKA Dr. Bombay
Snoop Dogg’s joining of the team was announced on Food Fighters Universe’s Twitter. It is expected that the rapper will take part in the project under the pseudonym Dr. Bombay — it is also the name that Snoop has recently given his Bored Ape Yacht Club avatar. His son is also involved in the restaurant project.

Decrypt.com reports that Snoop’s restaurant is not an “official” Bored Ape place. But the rapper has all rights to use his owned NFT image for it.
Snoop Dogg is known for his commitment to NFT. For example, he:
- owns NFTs from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection;
- released Nyan Cat-styled NFTs;
- collaborates with different NFT-projects such as The Sandbox on Ethereum and Clay Nation on Cardano;
- is the person behind a pseudonymous Crypto Twitter personality called Cozomo de Medici (as he claims).
In total, he owns a valuable multimillion-dollar NFT collection from many popular sources such as CryptoPunks, Art Blocks и XCOPY.
“This project it’s the future of the restaurant industry, and my dad and I are thrilled to join the team and utilize their expertise to bring Dr. Bombay to life”, — said Snoop’s son Cordell Broadus in a press release.
